BondVantage (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data when you use our website (bondvantage.co.za), submit forms, contact us, or engage our bond origination services. We are registered in accordance with the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
We collect: Identification: Full name, SA ID number, marital status, number of dependents. Contact Details: Cell phone number, email address, physical residential address. Financial Information: Gross and net monthly income, other income sources, monthly debt repayments, proof of income (payslips, bank statements, financial statements). Property & Loan Details: Purchase price, deposit amount, property address, purchase type, offer-to-purchase status. Employment Information: Employer name, employment type, duration of employment. Credit Information: Credit history, judgments, defaults (with your explicit consent for credit bureau checks). Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, website usage behaviour via cookies and analytics tools.
Directly from you: via forms, WhatsApp messages, email, phone calls, or document uploads. Automatically: through cookies, Google Analytics, and Meta Pixel when you browse our website. From third parties: credit bureaus (TransUnion, Experian, Compuscan) with your consent; estate agents or developers (only when you authorise shared submission).
We process your personal information for: Bond Origination Services, Communication, Legal Compliance, Marketing (with opt-in), and Analytics & Improvement.
Consent: You provide explicit consent when submitting forms. Contract: Processing is necessary to perform our bond origination agreement. Legal Obligation: We must retain records as required by NCR, SARS, and other regulators.
We share your information only with participating banks, credit bureaus (with consent), service providers bound by confidentiality, and legal/regulatory bodies when required by law. We never sell your data.
Active clients: duration of application + 5 years after bond registration. Non-converted leads: 12 months. Marketing subscribers: until unsubscribe.
We implement SSL/TLS, AES-256 encryption, role-based access, SOC 2 compliant hosting, and regular audits.
